Trading Lock for Demo Competitions
Starting this month, Block Trading is available across all demo competitions*.
To ensure a fair and consistent experience, trading permissions are automatically disabled when a new demo account is created, preventing any trading activity before the competition start date.
When the competition begins, trading permissions are automatically re-enabled for all participants, allowing everyone to start trading at the same time and under equal conditions.
Block Trading is applied at two levels:
- IB/Community Level: When enabled at the IB/Community level, trading will be automatically blocked for all upcoming competitions until their respective start times.
- Competition Level: The same functionality can be enabled individually on a competition-by-competition basis, allowing greater flexibility when needed.
* Note: To use this feature, we required block/unblock trading permissions from your platform group or provider.
